Rewrite Technology
Reuse recycle your event and Conference Id badges using our unique rewite technology. Rewrite technology allows you to 'print' on to a plastic card using heat alone. No ribbon required. Your event details are then overwriten onto our special reusable rewite cards that have a special thermo-sensitive layer that changes colour, to either black or blue depending on which card you choose. Each acrd can be over written up to 500 times!

The all-new Evolis YMCKOO ribbon was purposefully designed for the new Primacy 2. This Ribbon allows you to add a secondary overlay to protect from scratches and abrasions. So with 2 overlays, your ID cards will last longer.
But that's not all; you can add a "UV feature" to your cards but printing an image and/or text onto the first overlay of your ribbon. This is done within the all-new Evolis print centre driver, giving you more flexibility to add creative security and image features to your card.
A lifetime of use...
You get a 3-year manufacturer's warranty with this Evolis Primacy2 card printer. However, like all machines, they need regular servicing.
The most common problem with all ID card printers is damage to the print head when cleaning. Evolis has applied a "Print head" protector that automatically drops into place when cleaning or maintaining you are printed. This gives you added protection when undergoing regular maintenance. You may not see the benefit of it now, but ask any long-term user of Cardc printers, and they will immediately endorse such an innovative feature.
