This Intimus 852VS range of shredder comes complete with a large feed hopper to facilitate the emptying of a complete basket of paper waste into the shredder. The 852VS model also comes with Vario speed technology which emulates a 3 phase performance from a normal 13Amp socket, therefore avoiding the need for 3 phase socket implementation. It adjusts the gearing system of the cutting cylinder for high load operation which minimizes the risk of jamming when shredding substances of different thicknesses, can increase the shredding capacity by up to 50% and reduces power consumption by 30%.The Vario-speed technology adjusts the gearing system of the cutting cylinder for high load operation. Simply speaking, this Vario-speed technology operates on the same principle of gearing system in an automatic car.The unique paddle feed technology automatically feeds the crumbled paper into the shredding throat.With a large shredding width of 444mm it can shred documents up to 55-65 sheets in a single pass. Furthermore, its fold flat table will take most size continuous computer stationery.This 3 phase version (852CC) incorporates a large shelf for paper loading. Features include a micro controlled start/stop function, operated by a light sensor as well as LED's for paper jam; bin full and door open notification. There is an auto reverse when overloaded for easy removal of paper jams.
